Happy Feet Two returns audiences to the magnificent landscape of Antarctica in superb 3D. Mumble, The Master of Tap, has a problem because his tiny son, Erik, is choreo-phobic. Reluctant to dance, Erik runs away and encounters The Mighty Sven-a penguin who can fly! Mumble has no hope of competing with this charismatic new role model. But things get worse when the world is shaken by powerful forces. Erik learns of his father’s “guts and grit” as Mumble brings together the penguin nations and all manner of fabulous creatures-from tiny Krill to giant Elephant Seals-to put things right.
Another disappointing animation movie for kids especially when I have 2 three-year-old with me wanted to leave after 30 minutes into the movie and me kept checking my watch waiting for the movie to end. This is even worse than Puss in Boots, the last animated movie I watched recently.
Five years later, I can’t help but felt deja-vu during the movie with penguins dancing/singing to pop songs and not-so-funny jokes from Ramon (Robin Williams). Mumble, however turned into a party-pooper. The only excitement from the movie was from Bill and Will, the krill voiced by Brad Pitt and Matt Damon. Brittany Murphy who voiced Gloria in the original Happy Feet was definitely missed.
The original Happy Feet left too huge shoe to fill and I hope the studio should quit while they were ahead.

I need some good movie fix. This feels like a movie-slump and I need to get out of it soon. Three new movies kids friendly opening this week “The Muppets”, “Arthur Christmas” and “Hugo”. Hugo probably is the only movie I am looking forward to.
Amazon supposedly released Kindle Touch (KT) 8 days earlier than the promised release date but my order was still showing November 23rd, 2011 as delivery date. I just can’t wait that long to get my hands on it so I went by Best Buy to pick up a KT. Best Buy only had KT with special offers and I was a bit reluctant on getting the KT w/ SO. I was still a hesitant on getting the KT at Best Buy because of the special offers but they told me I can turn off the special offers feature once I register the item to my account and pay $40 price difference to turn that feature off and indeed, they were right. I am going to try it out with the special offers and see how much they bugged me or tempted me to spend more money.
The new Kindle Touch doesn’t feel much different in terms of reading to me compared to the Kindle Keyboard except the size and weight. I am still getting used to the menu structure and the touch area to get the menu to show up and turn pages. There are two features which pushed me on getting KT were the new Kindle Owner’s Lending Library and public library lending.
Even without the new release of Kindle, I would never go back to the way of holding physical book. Reading either on the new KT or my iPhone was way too convenient.
Why do I even bother watching this movie? It was going downhill after first movie. The writing was bad. The directing was bad. The acting was bad. Can you figure out where I’m going with this? BAD!
I do have to give it a thumbs up on the make-up and special effects on sick looking Bella during her pregnancy as well as the beautifully crafted wedding. Original soundtrack from the first movie made the movie bearable.
The only reason why they are splitting the book into two movie parts is to make more money. The sex scene in the books gave me chills reading it while the movie couldn’t stop me from laughing out loud. There was no chemistry between Bella and Edward and the sex scene was downright awkward.
I better stop writing since I have nothing good to say about this movie. Yes, this is coming from a Twilight fan.
